Worship the Lord your God.

  • praise

Praise acknowledges what God has done, and proclaims who He is. “Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness” (Psalm 150:2). Praise in the church is often accompanied by music.

  • worship

Worship is a deeper, more intimate encounter with God. Worship encompasses all of life. We can worship God beautifully in many creative ways with or without music. Music is simply a tool used to lead someone into worship.

  • prayer

Prayer is communication with God. Prayer is having a relationship with God. It often involves expressing gratitude, asking for guidance or help, or seeking spiritual connection and solace, and can take many forms, including reciting Bible scriptures, silent contemplation, and asking God to meet one’s needs. Prayer is often a means of petitioning God on behalf of another person. Prayer is powerful!
